Dr Maphosa is an experienced specialist dermatologist specialising in medical and cosmetic dermatology, and he endeavours to treat all patients with individualised care.
Dr Maphosa graduated with his MBChB in 2011, and upon completion of his internship and community service, he worked as a Medical Superintendent in a peripheral hospital.
Subsequently, he joined the Dermatology Registrar/Residency program at the University of Pretoria in South Africa for four years. Here, he gained valuable experience managing skin, hair and nail disorders. He graduated with an MMed Derm from the University of Pretoria and obtained his FC Derm SA from the College of Medicine South Africa.
Dr Maphosa was involved in research and publications and presented at national and international conferences during his studies. He is also the recipient of the 2nd prize in the Registrar Presentations Category at the 5th Combined Dermatology Congress in Cape Town.
Dr Maphosa is an experienced dermatologist specialising in medical and cosmetic dermatology, and he endeavours to treat all patients with individualised care. Apart from his clinic, Dr Maphosa provides services to outreach clinics in Tsumeb, Rundu, Eenhana, Walvis Bay in Namibia.
When he is not working, Dr Maphosa enjoys playing golf, international travel, and music. While making the most of the outdoors and travelling, he is always sure to apply a generous amount of sunscreen!
